An Artistic Expression of Cabernet Sauvignon Handcrafted by Gabrielle

SMALL PRODUCTION DISTINCTIVE CABERNET SAUVIGNONS & CABERNET BLENDS

VERTEX RED CUVEE BLEND 619 - Gabrielle CollectionThe Gabrielle Collection is a winery that produces a collection of handcrafted Cabernet Sauvignons, which bring out the diverse personalities of the noble Cabernet grape through artful blending. Each wine has a distinctive label that symbolizes a specific aspect of Winemaker, Gabrielle Leonhard O’Connell, philosophy: taste the vintage, varietal character and sense of place through the winemaker’s artistic point of view to create artful blended, food driven, and exquisitely balanced wines.

VERTEX RED CUVEE BLEND 619

Non Vintage Solera Style 2007-12

NORTH COAST Napa Valley, Sonoma & Lake County

A Cabernet Sauvignon Blend: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Syrah

THE WINE:

Gabrielle searched for a personal daily wine to enjoy by the glass or with meals that was approachable in taste & price- yet intriguingly satisfying. She could not find it, so she made it! Multiple blind tasting by a panel of fellow wine lovers put Vertex in first in first place over other wines every time-it has become a favorite of many ever since.

A VERTICAL IN A GLASS! It is standard practice to save a few barrels of past vintages to blend into current vintages to offer complexity. Barrels from the 2007- 2012 vintages were blended to create this charming non vintage.

VINEYARD:

The wine contains fruit from the O’Connell Family Estate Vineyard, which won Double Gold for their 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon, other Napa Valley as well as Lake County Vineyards.

TASTING NOTES:

Enjoy aromas of black fruits with flavors of wild blackberry, an earthy dustiness and dark chocolate. A stylish, sippable wine
